This Privacy Policy describes how Tickmeek ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and website (collectively, our "Services").

1 Information Collection and Use

When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive and store only:

  • Your email address (for account identification)
  • Your display name (as provided by Google/Apple)
  • A unique authentication ID
  • Basic authentication data required for app functionality

As part of Firebase Authentication integration, Google automatically collects basic usage data including:

  • Basic user activity (number of active users)
  • App version information
  • Device platform (Android/iOS)
  • Basic crash reporting
  • Country-level location

This data is collected only when you are signed in and helps us understand how the app is being used and identify potential issues. The data is processed by Google according to their Firebase privacy practices.

2 Legal Basis for Processing

For free users, all data remains on your device and we do not process personal data. For premium users who sign in, we process your data based on:

  • Contract performance (providing backup services you purchased)
  • Legitimate interest (basic analytics to improve the App)

3 Data Storage and Protection

The App operates primarily offline. Your task data and preferences are stored locally on your device using a secure local database. We do not have access to your task data unless you use our backup feature. As the data is not encrypted, you should not store sensitive personal information in your tasks or other app content.

Our website is primarily informational and does not collect any additional personal information beyond standard web analytics.

The App is not intended for users under 16 years of age.

4 Premium Features and Backup

4.1 Free Tier, Trial Period and Lifetime Access

The App offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial expires, you may continue using the App with limited features (free tier) or purchase lifetime premium access for a one-time payment. Free tier users have restrictions on the number of lists, categories, and subtasks, as well as limited access to themes and statistics. Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple Pay. Lifetime premium access includes all task management capabilities and cloud backup options.

4.2 Voluntary Support

Our "Support" section allows you to voluntarily donate specific amounts of money to support app development. These voluntary donations are also processed by Google Play or Apple Pay, using the same payment mechanisms as premium feature purchases.

4.3 Cloud Backup

For premium users, we offer cloud backup functionality. This backup contains your local database file and is only accessible with your authentication credentials. Your task data is only transmitted to our servers when you explicitly initiate a backup.

4.4 Payment Information

We do not store your payment information or credit card details. All payment processing is handled by Google Play or Apple Pay according to their respective privacy policies and security standards.

5 Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information. We may share aggregated, non-personal information for app improvement purposes.

6 Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for:

  • Authentication (through industry-standard sign-in providers)
  • Payment processing and subscription management
  • Cloud storage for backups
  • Standard analytics

Our payment and subscription management services help us process transactions and manage premium features. When you make a purchase, these services receive information such as your device identifier, purchase information, subscription status, and transaction history.

This information is used solely for managing your subscription or purchase status. These services do not have access to your task data or other personal information beyond what's necessary for payment processing.

Our third-party services (Firebase, payment processors) may transfer data outside your country. These providers operate under standard data protection agreements.

7 Legal Compliance

We may disclose personal information if required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

8 Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your local app data by uninstalling the App. Premium users can request deletion of their backup data and account information by contacting us at contact@zenzero.app. Upon request, backup data is removed within 30 days.

9 Your Rights

If you are a signed-in user, you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. However, as most data is stored locally, you are responsible for maintaining your device's security.
